Tyler Rae Golf Course Restoration Announced
The Mountain Lake Board of Directors unanimously approved the golf course restoration and improvement plan as presented by Tyler Rae Design, LLC. This strategic initiative is the first step in Mountain Lake’s long range plans to improve all of our facilities for all members and guests.
The Tyler Rae project will preserve, restore, and improve many of Seth Raynor’s original design elements. The plan pays homage to one of golf’s most revered course architects. Highlights include improved lines of play, the addition or removal of strategic bunkers, and the restoration of green complexes. This project is on the heels of the tee renovation project from the summer of 2023. Work will begin in April of 2026.
Mountain Lake 2030 and the Board are working hard at developing a sequencing plan for future amenities work realistically and with financial prudence.
The Seth Raynor golf course is a tremendously important community asset to Mountain Lake, and this project will enhance the community’s reputation as the finest residential community and golf course in the state of Florida for years to come.
